Overview
AliBill is designed with privacy as a core principle. All data processing happens locally in your browser. Your order information never leaves your device and is never transmitted to external servers.
Key Point: AliBill processes all data locally. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information or order data to any external servers.
Data Collection
What Data is Collected
AliBill collects order information from AliExpress pages that you visit while using the extension. This includes:
- Order IDs and dates
- Product information (titles, prices, quantities)
- Seller information (store names, URLs)
- Shipping and tracking information
- Payment details displayed on order pages
Where Data is Stored
All collected data is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage using Chrome's Storage API. This data:
- Remains on your device
- Is not synced to any cloud services
- Is not accessible to anyone except you
- Can be exported and deleted at any time
Data Processing
All data processing, including:
- Order data extraction from AliExpress pages
- Document generation and formatting
- PDF creation and export
...happens entirely within your browser. No data is sent to external servers for processing.
No External API Calls
AliBill does not make API calls to external servers for data processing. The extension:
- Does not send order data to any server
- Does not use analytics or tracking services
- Does not share data with third parties
Permissions
AliBill requires certain browser permissions to function:
Storage Permission
Used to save order data locally in your browser. The extension uses unlimitedStorage permission to store large amounts of order data without quota limits.
Host Permissions (AliExpress Domains)
Required to read order information from AliExpress pages. The extension accesses:
*.aliexpress.com*.aliexpress.ru*.aliexpress.us(optional, granted on request)
These permissions allow the extension to read page content and extract order information only when you actively visit these pages.
Data Control
You have full control over your data:
Export
You can export all stored order data as a JSON file at any time using the "Export All Orders" feature.
Delete
You can permanently delete all stored order data using the delete function in the AliBill menu.
Uninstall
Uninstalling the extension removes all stored data from your browser.
Third-Party Services
AliBill does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services. The only external connection is to AliExpress pages that you choose to visit.
Children's Privacy
AliBill is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
